As a graduate of the University of South Carolina, Tammy Johns is a businesswoman who started her first successful business at age 15 and chaired her first board at age 19. Tammy was also the owner and director of Dance Station Incorporated featuring the national award-winning dance team, Carolina FreeStyle, in Chapin, South Carolina. Due to Tammy’s dedication, drive, and work ethic, her team has performed all over the nation including the National NBC television program the Today Show, Walt Disney World, and Country Tonite. Tammy and her team were regular performers at the Newberry Opera House. Tammy and her studio are referenced in Debbie Roberts’ book on How to Run a Successful Dance Studio. Tammy has been seen on commercials and she co-hosted radio and television programs across the nation.

Tammy recently served as Chair on the Board of Directors and works with WIS Television to produce the Carolina Carillon Holiday Parade in Columbia, South Carolina. Mrs. Johns is also a former national spokesperson for the American Cancer Society (now an ambassador) to help support and raise money for the organization. Tammy also works with Folds of Honor and the USO. Tammy volunteers with the Ronald McDonald House and several children’s hospitals across the nation, including Prisma Children’s Hospital. She also works with several veterans’ groups and facilities.  Tammy is now President of the national  All-Star United States pageant organization where she provides scholarships to young women.  Mrs. Johns also heads up national New York Fashion week shows working with people across the United States and all over the world. Tammy directs companies and individuals across the nation involved in volunteerism and education to strengthen and grow communities. 

Tammy Johns is the founder of the United States All-Stars. This non-profit provides basic needs and scholarships to women and children. United States All-Stars is a nationwide 501c3. United States All-Stars targets the needs of the children in local communities. Tammy is also Vice-Chairman Newberry County GOP.

Tammy Johns is married to Mr. Paul Brown. Mr. Brown is a volunteer fireman for Fairview Fire Department in Prosperity.  Tammy and her husband are fully aware of the importance of education, communication, and staying connected. These attributes always lead to transparency and accountability.  With her husband’s full support, Tammy will be a strong and positive voice for you. Tammy will work for the people of Newberry County.
